About
Hello, my name is Sofia Fappiano, and welcome to my creative space! I double major in Digital Technology and Emerging Media (DTEM) and film at Fordham University. I’m a visual storyteller. I have experience doing drone videography, cinematography, and editing from digital production courses and personal experience outside my classroom.
My career goal is to work in the film industry. I want to help clients, communities, companies, and artists to help get their stories to be seen. My interest in filmmaking stemmed from Best Video, a video rental shop near my house in Hamden, Connecticut. Throughout childhood, I walked with my family to Best Video and rented movies. To this day, I go there with my twin sister to rent DVDs and grab coffee. In the future, I hope to see the films I help create displayed on the shelves at Best Video.
